Your curriculum won’t save you, and it sure as hell won't scale.
They can’t help themselves, Reader. Someone taught them to do it this way, so they taught you to do it this way — and here we are. Remember back in school? That classic writing assignment: share your insight on a topic. The first steps?
And you know what? That same mediocre advice has stuck around to this day. Want to create a course? Define who it’s for and what they’ll get (aka fancy core statement), create the outline, then record it. Starting a membership? SAME SHIT ADVICE — just drip it out over time for a lower price? (Let me tell you what a disaster that is for membership strategy, but that’s another email.) This "topic + outline + deliver" dynamic is built for failure because it’s ass-backwards. It builds results around YOU — your guidance, your expertise, your voice — and then tosses it into the arena against everyone else doing the same thing. Then we all sit around hoping yours magically wins out because your customers love YOU more than anyone else. Meanwhile, your hard-built, most impactful expertise just sits and ROTS. (Product completion and engagement stats? Abysmal. You already know.) When you put yourself at the center of the process, you guarantee that you remain the bottleneck. As long as you’re the bottleneck, you stay stuck in the messy middle. Your curriculum ≠ a scalable solution. A scalable solution delivers repeatable transformation. That means starting with the tangible, repeatable change your expertise can (and probably already) delivers — then building a system around that, not around you. This trips up almost every expert I meet. But it’s not your fault. You’ve spent years mastering your craft, going deeper into your own well, fighting your own goblins. Building around your expertise has become a reflex — but what got you here won’t get you where you want to go next. We have to flip the focus: Lean into the customer experience. What do they need to create permanent, lasting change in their lives and their world? Map that journey, and suddenly, scalable solutions reveal themselves — solutions that deliver at scale without you standing in every room, on every call, holding every thread together. But I’m not just here to tell you — I’m here to show you exactly how to start. This is where the Framework First Method comes in. When you focus on transformation first, the shape of the delivery becomes obvious. The system starts to build itself. That’s how you unlock real scalability. Watch this game-changing training → Then go ahead — draft the first version of your model method. What did you uncover? More soon, Starlight
P.S. Watched the training and ready to roll up your sleeves? (No passive note-takers. No “someday” energy.) For a limited time, I’m opening a few seats to non-clients so you can get inside, get your hands dirty, and start building for real. This isn’t a webinar or fluffy training — to join, you’ll need to have watched the Framework First training and come ready to discuss your draft Model Method live. If that’s you, reply with SCALE LAB and I’ll send the private link. |
